Although Drivers get the most attention in the modern game, the Golf Putter is most definitely the most essential part of any players Golf Bag. No matter how well or smoothly you are driving it on to the green, it means nothing unless you finish it up with a solid Putting game. But when it is reversed and a player is driving poorly, they can alway save their game if their Putting is on form.
We proudly stock a vast range of Golf Putters available in-store and on our Online Golf Store. From all the leading Golf brands such as Taylormade, Ping Putters, Titleist, Cobra Golf and Mizuno. And no Golf Putter range or collection would be complete without the legendary Scotty Cameron Putter and the Odyssey Putter.
What Length Putter do I Need?
The height of the Golfer determines the length of their Golf Putter. For example if the player is six foot or over, you will feel more comfortable with a 35 inch Putter. For heights between five foot nine and six foot, it is recommended to have a length of 34 inches for your Putter. For people below five foot six will need a 33 inch Putter. Anything above or under these heights will need a custom Fitting for their Golf Putter, this service is available in-store at Midlands Golf.
How to measure Putter Length?
In order to measure your Golf Putter, the best method is to take a 48 inch ruler and put one end of it at the heel of your putter, leaving the other end of the ruler at the end of the grip. This method will show the exact length of your Putter. If you are trying to find the correct Putter length for you, Midlands Golf offer a free Custom Fitting service to help find the right Golf Clubs for you.
How to Grip a Putter?
The alternative reverse overlap, the two thumb or the claw. Every Golfer has their preferred gripping technique when it comes to putting. Considered the pivotal Golf Skill, putting can also be the most intractable. For this reason is it always best to do your research with trial and error to find the right technique for your Putting game.
