Galvin Green put an advert in their home countries biggest Golf Magazine in Sweden that consisted of 39 pages. This lead to the signing of fellow countryman Joakim Haeggman the Galvin Green Man, Swedens leading Golfer at the time. Haeggman became the first Swede to play in the European Ryder Cup team and also won the Scandinavian Masters in 1997 whilst playing in Galvin Green Waterproofs.
